Bermuda Triangle

I haven't blogged in a very long time. I started working more and lost my inspiration/motivation/creativity. I like to think my mojo got lost in the Bermuda Triangle of inspiration, because it's a more romantic idea.

Bunting Birdcage

Every time I look at my empty birdcage I think about my idea to put a string of mini bunting in there.

Instead of actually doing it, I just drew a random little illustration of it.


It makes me happy. Hope your Monday was happy too!

Spring Tulips

It's been awhile since I posted a sketch, and even longer since I sketched one of my favorite designer chairs, so here it is!

The Tulip Chair was designed by Eero Saarinen in 1955 for Knoll. It has always had a certain futuristic feel to it, and was used in the original Star Trek series.

It's interesting, a lot of the pictures I found are white Tulip Chairs in almost completely white interiors. What do you think? And do you think the Tulip Chair still looks futuristic?
